Dear Sandra, Thanks for your encouraging words. Why not try and write your thoughts in your mother tongue first and then translate it in to English. You may end up with a lovely poem in both languages. Best wishes Saradha

Hi! I've read your poem "Iwill unlove you" in the NW15. I'm not used to reading poetry (in English) but I really loved yours. I wish I could express the whole lot of things it brought to my mind. Best regards, Sandra.

Crafts for Children

Hello,
My name is Doris Anne Beaulieu and I’d like to this time to talk to mail order companies and parents.
To parents I have a wonderful craft book for your child to give his or her teacher at the end of the school year. My Easy and Inexpensive Holiday Classroom Crafts for Teachers book is truly a gift that will forever keep giving from year to year, holiday after holiday. It’s a craft book for developing creative minds. This book will tell you what items you will need for each craft along wit… Continue

Capturing the Stories (Meetup Angel 16-08-2007)

Once again, the Global Tribal Meetup in London Angel was full of insights, tips and referrals. A warm bunch of connectors in a cold English garden!

Among the bright ideas, one recurrent theme was “capturing the stories”. For marketing purpose, for monitoring and evaluation purpose, for social purpose, etc…

(Our next Global Tribal meetup will be on 6th September: Smartnetworking event; London. FRE

Deptford meetup

The meetup in Deptford went well yesterday - lots of interesting projects - here's a round up of who came:

Chris from Positive Place www.thepositiveplace.org.uk supports people whose lives are affected by HIV and AIDS. He is looking for groups who want to rent out space in his building on Deptford Broadway - ideally on a regular basis. The space would be good for training workshops, events or meetings.

Hello to Make your Mark

I'm not quite sure what Make your Mark is, where it comes from, how it grew, where it spreads and so on, but it sounds interesting. I like networks. With others last year, I set up a local network of freelancers and small businesses, most in the creative side of things, in my area of Telegraph Hill. It's called Hill Business, and since then we've been working with the community centre and local groups to raise funds and develop a 'Creative Community Vision for Telegraph Hill'. This summer, there… Continue

Make Your Mark meetup in Brockley

I decided to start a Make Your Mark meetup in Brockley to bring together interesting people in my local community. I spend most of my time working in central London but I hardly know anyone in my own neighbourhood. Rather than get on a bus or train, I wanted to just stroll down the road to my local cafe and meet others who live near me. People who are trying to make their ideas happen - startingContinue
